Ephesians 1 is a sentence of epic proportions, both in length but also in content.
It talks of being ‘Chosen’ by God before the foundations of the world. But what are we chosen for? What are we chosen into?
In this talk, James looks at how knowing what the end of the story is changes everything. Knowing that God has chosen us to be in Christ both now and for all eternity helps us to understand the realities of this world. Knowing that one day all pain and suffering will cease gives us hope in moments of difficulty now, knowing that we are chosen gives us our mission and our reason for living.
