Worship is all of life, but there's a particular biblical emphasis on sung worship.
In this talk, James looks at why worship is so important for the Church, because it is so beneficial to the individual believer.
It gives us perspective, praises Jesus, gives us hope, reminds us of truth, brings a vitality to life, unclutters the busyness of our lives, and brings us joy.
It is as we worship that we can be filled with the Spirit and gain God's viewpoint on the world, there's a biblical connection between worship, being filled with the Spirit and then God providing what we need.
God does not call us to be passive in our worship, but actively pursuing and seeking Him within, and beyond, our Sunday meetings.
