Marys worship cost her a an entire years salary, it would undoubtedly have been the most expensive thing she had ever owned and perhaps would have been passed down through the family for generations. Mary was so overwhelmed by the all that she had received from Jesus, all that He had done for her, that she poured it all out over him in a few seconds.
