Is there such a thing as being too selfless? Laying down your life for another
improperly and not as Christ intended? What would that look like exactly, because
any way you cut it, it’s incredibly difficult to lay your life down for a selfish reason.
However, when we truly look at the Manual of Life, how we are intended & called
to be selfless, does not come from people pleasing or finding any way to see
ourselves as nothing to make sure others can feel like something. No it is LOVE in
the manner that Christ even commands, “love your neighbor as you love yourself,”
meaning the love of the Self is very crucial to be able to love properly. See Christ
could’ve spent His entire life serving His mother Mary until she grew old and cared
for her in that old age, but it was not the will or proper love that He was ordained
here to do… Let’s see what love means and how we can properly bear the
#FruitoftheHeart…
