Episode 108 - King Of The Castle, Rock
Well, here we are. Our month-long Stephen King Birthday Extravaganza is sadly coming to an end. It's been a lot of fun celebrating one of the most prolific names in the world of horror, although we will admit that we are a bit disappointed.
A whole month of birthday shoutouts, and Stephen didn't respond to a single tweet, instagram, or Facebook post. Not a single "thank you" for the dozens of birthday cards written in our own blood. Like, we get it, he's a busy guy and all, but most of the nights that we spent watching him from the bushes outside his house, he just sat there watching tv. We're not one's to hold a grudge, we just thought he'd show a little gratitude for the hair dolls and the dead cat that we left at his front door.
Whatever, we're over it. Just know, Stephen, that when you are ready to become best friends, we will be ready and waiting. Just turn around and give us the word. Seriously, just turn around... we will literally be right behind you.
*heavy breathing
Um, yeah so anyway, this week we wrapped up our celebration with some Cabernet Sauvignon from Castle Rock Winery, some Cage Radler from Victory Brewing, and we discuss the new King-inspired Hulu series, Castle Rock.
