Episode 125 - Over The Hill, Time To Kill
Getting old kinda sucks. Getting out of bed is a slow, painful process, our hair is falling out, our doctor says that if we don't stop "cramming our fat faces with pizza rolls and beer" then we're probably "going to die soon", and worst of all, for some reason whenever a group guys in their 30's try to play cops & robbers, someone always calls the real cops.
On the plus side, we are about halfway to retirement. So we have that to look forward to. Although, believe or not, the pension plan for a weekly Michigan-based horror and beer podcast is not really that stellar, so we're probably going to have to become Wal-Mart greeters anyway.
However, it turns out that getting older isn't quite as tough for people who are at the top of their games. Some people stay in their prime, even after retirement, and this week we wanted to celebrate two such men. We decided to shake things up with a couple of action flicks, so we grabbed some Albino Assassin Squid Red Rye IPA from Brewdog, and discussed two professional killers who couldn't be slowed down by old age.
