Episode 128 - The Details Are A Little Foggy
There's a reason that we use the word 'fog' when we are describing things that aren't quite right.
"I don't know, the details are kinda foggy"
"I've been away for so long that it's really fogging up my memory"
"Man, too many tequila sunrises last night. I woke up in a fog"
"Dude we forgot to post our episode for two days. What the Fog is wrong with us?"
It's because a thick blanket of fog is natures way of saying, "I've got some secrets too."
We never really know what is lurking out there in the fog. Could be nothing. Could be your worst nightmare. And the more you strain your eyes to see through it, the more its swirling tendrils take shape and reveal that the fog itself might just be the real monster. ...Or you know, it's just low hanging condensation that forms when the difference between air temperature and dew point is less than 4.5 °F. Either way this week we grabbed some Hazy Little Thing IPA from Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., peered into the murky abyss for a comparison of The Fog (1980) and The Fog (2005).
