EP 139 - Revengers: Deadgame
There seems to be a big focus on avenging these days. Avenging, to avenge, possibly carried out by an avenger of some sort. We’re not sure why everyone has this word on their lips, apparently some sort of huge cultural phenomenon or something, but all this talk has us thinking about the word Avenge and its more gritty cousin. REVENGE! They are somewhat interchangeable, but to us, revenge seems more personal. A little less about justice, and a little more about retaliation. A little less about righting wrongs, and a little more about doing damage.
Oh, here’s a cool idea. Someone should make a movie about a group of people who are wronged, and band together as a team to exact their revenge. It could have a cast of huge Hollywood celebrities, and it could be called.... REVENGERS! Yeah, that’s cool. Someone should get on that. Anyway, this week since we were thinking about revenge, we grabbed some Anti-Hero IPA from Revolution Brewing, and took a look at two of the 90’s best revenge offerings.
