Episode 151 - 3 Years in the Abyss
Did you know that if you starting walking 3.1 mph for 8 hours per day, you could walk around the entire world in about 3 years? How about this? Did you know that if you took a trip to Mars, it would only take about 6 months, but because the Earth and Mars are only that close every two years, you’d had to wait to make your 6 month return trip, making the trip a total of 3 years? Also, did you know that most college degrees in the UK can be obtained in about 3 years? We think you get the point. These are all things that you can do in 3 years. Or.... OR.... you could forget all of that, and listen to one episode of this podcast per week, and that would also take you 3 years. All the same sense of accomplishment, with a fraction of the work.
This week, for our third podiversary, we reminisced about the past three years of podcast shenanigans, and also dove into The Abyss Barrel Aged Imperial Stout from Deschutes, and discussed James Cameron’s The Abyss. An episode like this only comes around once in a blue moon, which coincidentally is once every three years. Cheers!
