Episode 176 - This Old House

We’re thinking about buying a house. Not just any house though. We want something with history. A nice, big, old house with creaky bones that tell us a story every time we walk through a room. Of course, we are aware of all the obvious pitfalls of moving into an old house. Foundation issues, drafty windows, leaky pipes, ghosts of murdered children, termite damage, lead based paint.... The list goes on and on, but we think dealing with all of those things would be totally worth it to have a beautiful old house with lots of character. Well, maybe not the drafty windows, but we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.
This week, in celebration of our potential new digs, we grabbed some Accident In Hubbard’s Cave American Imperial Stout from Une Annee Brewery, and discussed a couple films about big old houses, and the beings who inhabit them. Cheers!!!
