Episode 234 - Silence Of The Lames
Mike quietly told me this week that spending the past two weeks in silence has helped him to better understand the sound.... of a whisper. He’s been full of little existential whimsies like that since “the accident” (his words not mine). It’s truly obnoxious, and I’m realizing that a silent Mike might be even worse for my mental health than one who can speak, but I’ve got a few more days of silence to figure that out.
So this week, I called up the legendary Vito Power once again, grabbed some Silence of Light Imperial Stout from Modern Times Beer, and some Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Cider, and joined Mike in his last week of quiescence with a discussion of two silent films. Cheers!!
