Episode 91 - Net Brutality
Imagine, if you can, a world where a few simple commands could produce anything you can imagine. A world where the entire recorded history of mankind is just a click away. Information traveling at the speed of light from one continent to another in all directions like little tendrils of knowledge descending upon the earth, forming a virtual “web” that connects us all. Communication would be reliable, easy, and instantaneous. We hope we haven’t lost you yet. Now, imagine that there are people, bad people, waiting in the dark corners of this “internetwork”, who take advantage of this amazing world wide structure to exploit people for their own benefit. Thieves, kidnappers, murderers, lowlifes, no-goodniks, you name it. Sounds pretty frightening right? Well, just be glad that’s the stuff of these science fiction comics that these darn kids are reading these days, and not real life. In this edition of The Buzzed Kill Tribune we decided to give our take two of those crazy stories, and we did it while enjoying a couple fine PC Pils oat sodas from the boys over at Founders Brewing.
