Episode 94 - Ninten-Don't Drink and Game
We have a lot in common with each other over here at The Buzzed Kill Podcast, and that's probably why we are such good friends. We are all musicians, we all love camping, and not to state the obvious, but we all love beer, horror movies, and video games. We have to admit, the last two things on that list have never really impressed our parents very much. It wasn't uncommon to hear them say things like, "You're going to go blind, looking at those darn video games all day", or "Friday the 13th? What's that garbage? You want real cinema? Weekend At Bernie's... now there's a real classic", and even "I don't care what you do, you're 33 years old. Just get the hell out of my basement!" WELL, LOOK AT US NOW, DAD!!! Not only have we managed to turn our love for horror movies into one of the top Southwest Michigan podcasts in the genre of beer and horror movies among 18-34 year olds(Easily in the top 50 probably), but we can even spin our love for video games into an episode. Added Bonus: We're pretty sure that if there was ever a zombie apocalypse or an alien invasion, we would be preeeetty okay. This week we grabbed some Hoptronix Double IPA from New Holland Brewing, did a quick review of a video game-based horror movie, then focused our attention E3 2018's coverage of some upcoming genre-based games.
