Episode 95 - Welcome To Earth: An Independence Day Retrospective
Happy 4th of July Weekend, everybody! We’re just sitting here thinking about freedom. We are so happy that we live in a place where we are free to live our lives the way we see fit. Isn’t it awesome? However, we are a little concerned about the things that are currently threatening our freedom. You know what we are referring to. The aliens. They come here uninvited, they don’t speak our language, they burn up all of our resources, then just move on like nothing happened. Don’t even get us started on how they smell, or those dumb biomechanical suits they always wear. Zipping around in their little ships, leveling entire city blocks with their plasma rays. Space aliens are the worst, man. It’s a good thing us humans are so good at putting our differences aside, so we can rely on each other, should any real threats arise. This week we liberated some Samuel Adams Sam ‘76 from the liquor store, and freed up some time to discuss two movies that may as well be documentaries about the greatest threat to our freedom. Those damn aliens.
MOVIES WE DISCUSSED
