Man, that really doesn’t roll off the tongue the way we thought it did in the 90’s. Maybe we’re remembering the lyrics wrong, but regardless, it does bring some interesting thoughts to mind. What would you do if you were just going about your daily business (work, school, shopping at the mall, working out at the gym), and suddenly you were thrust into a scenario where you had to kill everyone else around you to survive? It doesn’t matter if they are your friends, enemies, neighbors, strangers, family, or coworkers. The only way for you to survive is for everyone else to die. That’s a pretty rough situation. We know what we would do. We would use our extensive knowledge of genre movies to craft our own awesome weapons, and we would dive headlong into the carnage…. and immediately be dispatched by anyone with just a minimal amount of self-defense knowledge.
This week we grabbed some Lost Minds Tart IPA from Brewery Vivant, and discussed a couple movies where people are forced to fight everyone around them, until only one person is left standing.
