Episode 99 - Late Shift, Last Call
Burning the midnight oil, dogwatch, graveyard shift, lobster trick. Whatever you call it, sometimes working late into the night is what you gotta do to stay in the black. Take us for instance. Every week we are putting in the extra hours, taking on the rigorous task of watching our favorite movies, and trying all kinds of new delicious beer. It can be quite exhausting. And what do we have to show for it, besides droves of adoring fans, and widespread, national, critical acclaim probably? Nothing, but that’s how you know we care. We punch those time cards because this is what we love.... but also if anyone hears this and wants to start paying us, that would actually be preferable. This week we decided to pay homage to the other people out there who are sweating it out late-night, and bringing home the bacon. For all those who run themselves ragged, doing the real dirty work, we grabbed some Norm’s Raggedy Ass IPA from Griffin Claw and discussed two films about people who really know how to work themselves to death.
