You need hyperlinks to get a real backlink.
A brand mention on its own isn’t enough. If your name is mentioned but not linked to your website, Google can’t pass authority or value through it.
For SEO to work, the mention has to be clickable and point to your site. No link means no backlink, and no SEO benefit.
Simple but often misunderstood.
