The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Concrete Husband. "Your Pulse" comes off the Piel LP, forthcoming on New York's WHITE OWL Records. Returning for his second release on White Owl is Carlos Aguilar aka Concrete Husband, an exciting artist who has a high pedigree from the world of classical music and has now found his home in techno. Not only a producer, he is also an in demand DJ, playing regularly around NYC hotspots, and has also toured Europe this year.
'Piel' is an album journey that expresses the artist's dual sides; the themes of his ambient works and his techno prove strangely similar. In this long-form project, Concrete Husband presents his two styles next to each other. A searing flute opening delves into a torrent of techno madness, topped with two stellar remixes from techno icons TWR72 and 1morning. In all, Concrete Husband takes us from introverted depths to extroverted heights by deftly defying genre. Today we premiere track 6 from the techno part of the release.
