The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from mimmo. "Archives de l'autre monde" comes off the new EP SILLON, forthcoming on Run Level. The release is a collection of tracks composed between 2021 and 2024 in Nantes, inspired by places visited along the way—from the sunlit Mediterranean paths of Niolon to the enclosed spaces of the archives from another world.
Each track is a step along a furrow carved through wandering, like snapshots capturing moving landscapes, solitude, quiet rebirths, struggles with technology, chance encounters, and transformations of all kinds. Sillon aims to bridge the gap between a mental map and a road map. It’s a scar—the mark of passing time, the imprints of regional train lines across the French countryside—a necessary cut, a scarification that fuels movement.
