The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Wellen.Brecher. "Tierisch Verboten (21 Downbeat Cover Version)" comes off the new 12", Hitmaschine, forthcoming on Berlin's Killekill. Born out of the Ick Mach Welle collective, Wellen.Brecher consists of Werner Soyeaux aka Bläck Dävil, Uwe Locati aka DJ Locati, Dave Senan aka Senator and Hanni Kusch, a member of the German punk band Pisse.
After touring in 2022, the group now delivers their debut EP which is fueled by a vast spectrum of influences from rave, acid and techno to new wave, electro and beyond. The EP two original tracks, the first of which, "Lasst Uns Feiern”, has become the group's "anthem", which also gets a razor sharp remix from master producer, The Hacker.
Today were premiere the 21 Downbeat cover version of "Tierisch Verboten" which injects a dose of electro-clash, no wave and more for a totally infectious and unforgettable track of robotic rhythms and cold vocals. As a digital bonus, the EP also features long time Killekill collaborator Furfriend who delivers a gritty techno remix of Brummbär.
