Pianist and New Ross Piano Festival Artistic Director Finghín Collins talks about the idea and background behind the Ros Tapestry commissions.
The project involves 15 commissions from Irish composers over 3 years to compose a short piano work based on each of the 15 Ros Tapestries, a series of embroidered panels depicting events around the Anglo-Norman arrival in the South East of Ireland.
