Composer Gerry Murphy talks about composing his piece for the New Ross Piano Festival. The work 'Battles in the Kingdom of Ossory' is one of 5 commissioned works based on the first 5 of the Ros Tapestry series of embroidered panesl depicting events related to events around the Anglo-Norman arrival in the South East of Ireland.
