Hailing from the moors above Manchester, Stepford Wives combine youthful optimism with mercurial wisdom to serve up raucous, intelligent guitar music that packs a powerful punch. Their distinctive, post-punk vocals, incredible drumming, mesmerising bass-playing and melodic guitar riffs combine to make an unforgettable set brimming with raw energy.

In 2019, the band released their first single, Follow This Way. Thanks to this track and their raw, energetic gigs, Stepford Wives quickly caught the attention of radio stations, promoters and the press. I Can’t Fight, the bands second single, made Indie Rocks Radio's Top Ten Singles of 2019 and Louder Than War called them 'Ones to watch 2020'.

For fans of Joy Division, Talking Heads, The Clash, even Fugazi and Dead Kennedys, Stepford Wives blend post-punk attitude with a 21st century outlook. After signing a development deal with Salford's A1M Records, the band are looking forward to releasing their 4-track EP in spring, taking their incredible live show on the road, and making 2020 their year.
