When examining the history of electronic music in the UK, it's clear that Sheffield was one of the country's key early hubs, but that doesn't seem to prevent the city's current output from often being overlooked. Thankfully, the Central Processing Unit label and its fantastic run of releases is helping to change that, especially the ones from upstart Sheffield producer 96 Back. After debuting on CPU with an EP last year, he's now following it up with a proper full-length. Entitled 'Excitable, Girl,' it's scheduled for release on March 1, but ahead of that we premiered the bright melodies and perky rhythms of "Excited, Boy" on Red Bull Radio's First Floor, our weekly look at what's new in electronic music.
