Recorded as a collaboration between the Chile-based German electronic producer Atom™ and Russian singer Lisokot, "Maschinenwalzer" is a brittle and disorienting take on the 3/4 time signature of classic waltz music – but that's not immediately recognizable. As you continue to listen, it might begin to unfold. Even if it doesn't, it stands on its own as an inimitable piece of experimental music. The short album, titled 'Walzerzykius,' is out on Raster Media this month. The track premiered on Discreet Music, Red Bull Radio's weekly deep-dive into all manner of experimental music.
