“Not To Disappoint Anyone” is a sprawling, shape-shifting piece of free form techno from Italian producer Alberto Ricca AKA Bienoise. Produced at RBMA 2014 in Tokyo, the track bears signs characteristic of the Academy magic: The Roland TR-909 that Bienoise used here was set up by Carl Craig, and Mathew Jonson contributed a synth part when he joined Alberto in one of the bedroom studios one night. Appearing on Alberto’s upcoming “Sharawadji III” EP, we’re glad that this intricate production is now going to see the light of day.
