RBMA grad @daisuketanabe returns to Cologne-based label @Ki-Records for his second solo LP with 'Floating Underwater'. A delicate affair through and through, the album showcases the Japanese producer's knack for crafting crisp, serene soundscapes, which he offsets with a range of shifting rhythms that vary in impact and velocity.
"Chugger", which we're happy to premiere, twists restlessly around a decomposing breakbeat, initially appearing to duel with the track's marimba, before settling into harmonic unison.
