Red Bull Music Academy alumni Sam Posner unveils his latest project under the name El Niño & the Southern Oscillations. “Number Stations”, the first track taken from an upcoming 10” on Innovative Leisure, bristles with exuberant energy, layering bright, synthetic chimes over a buoyant, oscillating melody. Posner’s project was conceived “as a meditation on the beauty and power of the ocean”, and a sense of sublime awe and joyous wonder is reflected in the track.
El Niño & the Southern Oscillations’ Innovative Leisure 10” will be out on Record Store Day.
