At breakneck speed, Austrian live techno trio @elektroguzzi plunges into the saber-toothed throb of "Threshold People," culled from their upcoming @macrorec album, Observatory. Thick layers of grit and rubble are permeated by pitch-bending faux-synth stabs and an unrelenting kick drum, yet again serving as testament to Elektro Guzzi's mastery of analogue instrument manipulation.
Observatory is out May 30 via Macro Recordings. Elektro Guzzi will play MUTEK Montreal, as well as the RBMA Festival New York Closing Night on May 31.
