Furtherset is the brainchild of Italian RBMA alum Tommaso Pandolfi. His new digital and cassette tape, ‘To Alter and Affect,’ is being released by the Zurich and Milano based -ous label and provides an intriguing listen from start to finish. “Ask Your Existential Core,” which we are premiering here, gleams with optimism, albeit coated in a slight layer of fuzz, as if viewed through the lens of a smudgy Polaroid camera. The track shows Tommaso’s gift for creating intricate musical textures and enthralling minimalist melodies.
Furtherset’s ‘To Alter and Affect’ EP is out April 27 via -ous.
