Although Jeremy Greenspan (better known as one half of Junior Boys) and Taraval are both veteran musicians hailing from Hamilton, Ontario, it was only last winter that these two Canadians managed to get into the studio together. Armed with a fleet of vintage synths, they cooked up a series of jams and have subsequently whittled the results into a five-song EP for their own Geej label. The record drops on July 28, but ahead of that, the warbling melodies and chugging rhythms of "Daff" debuted on Red Bull Radio's First Floor, our weekly look at what's new in electronic music.
