Over the past decade, French-born, Berlin-based Kangding Ray has built his name on a particularly architectural brand of noise-techno hybrids, but his forthcoming album for Stroboscopic Artefacts, 'Hyper Opal Mantis,' find him tipping that balance more heavily toward the dancefloor.
