Czech RBMA alumna Never Sol specializes in what she describes as “chiaroscuro synth folk.” It’s a poetic description for a poetic-minded musician, whose mastery of atmospheric songwriting is apparent in all of her work. Her latest missive, “Nur,” which we’re happy to host here, was crafted in conjunction with the Elpida choir, in support of their intergenerational festival, Old’s Cool. It’s a fine slice of melancholic, electronic-driven pop that surges and ebbs in tender, evocative ways.
