On her latest EP, 'Nightlife', @nightwave808 comes through with a broad palette of styles and sounds - ranging from the technoid title track to frantic electro rap and futuristic trap inversions.
"Birdland", which we're stoked to premiere a few days prior to the record's release on Nightwave's own @heka-trax label, takes yet another different turn. A crisp, inviting keyboard sequence rings in a jaunty journey riddled with playful production flourishes. Bass-heavy and juke-y, yet lighthearted and dynamic, "Birdland" feels like the kind of warm breeze you long for on a cold day. We're very down with that solo, too.
