When @orlandovolcano sent us his latest batch of new material, it came as a shock in the best possible way. These new tunes were gloomy and visceral, a discernible departure from much of the RBMA '13 grad's earlier work.
"Neva Gonna Put U Down", which we're happy to premiere here, arrives as part of the 3-piece 'Low Key' EP. The track churns and seethes metallically, like a lump of quicksilver on the brink of crystallizing. The spliced-in, high-pitched R&B vocals only add to the feeling of anxiety that emanates from this gorgeous, head-spinning belter.
