To commemorate the opening of the Club Berlin exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and his ongoing Asian tour, 50Weapons affiliate Phon.O debuts here his new track “Comb4t.”
Phon.O is no stranger to the Berlin scene, having had releases on labels ranging from BPitch Control to Shitkatapult and beyond, as well as maintaining a long-time relationship with 50Weapons prior to the label’s closing. On “Comb4t,” you can hear a flurry of rhythmic detail and brass that is both subtle and propulsive, building to a celestial shiver of melody that overtakes the skull-cracking percussion.
