A pillar of Bristol's ultra-fertile bass music community, Pinch has been turning out speaker-rattling rhythms since the early days of dubstep. Although his more recent output – along with that of his labels, Tectonic and Cold Recordings – has focused on more hybridized technoid sounds, his new 'Brain Scan' EP finds him revisiting the classic dubstep template. The record is slated to arrive on November 17 via Australian label Aquatic Lab, but we were given the chance to debut the thumping "Street Light" on Red Bull Radio's First Floor, our weekly look at what's new in electronic music.
