Composer and cellist Rebecca Foon has been part of the tight-knit Montréal experimental music scene for awhile. With 'A Common Truth' – her second album as Saltland, due out March 31 on Constellation – her music faces climate change head on. "Forward Eyes II" is a moody, brooding piece that manages to find the hidden beauty in fear. It's not exactly uplifting, but it does present a fresh perspective on an unfortunate reality.
