London producer Tarquin takes matters into his own hands on 'Missy Mischief,' an anarchic echo of grime, trap and dubstep that marks his first self-released single. As well as being part of the nebulous crew attached to London clubnight Boxed, he's since dished out further records on Gobstopper and Rinse, and collaborated with MC Jammz on the blistering 2017 anthem 'Come To The Dance'. On 'Missy Mischief', Tarquin's serrated synth lines and choppy sampling hark back to the cut 'n' shut ferocity of classic grime, but the scaffolding is dangerously wonky – the walls are caving in and, ultimately, chaos prevails. It's a one-of-a-kind track and the perfect opposite of its A-side – both are out on TARQS on November 30, 2018.
