When I compose I normally sit down and finish it in one session. Orphan Song took me a little longer and it felt like an orphan song to me because of that - meaning the song was orphaned by me - haha. The original version of this song was much more dense and sounded pretty junky. This final version sounds cleaner and more pleasing than the complex piece I originally wrote.
