The EP begins with Into the Stillness, a landscape of reversed sounds that gently draw you in. It’s like stepping into a world where time stretches, where every sound feels distant and vast, pulling you away from the ordinary and into new, uncharted realms.
With Backwards Drift, suspense fills the air as you drift through empty space, caught in a feeling of subtle unease. The track keeps you suspended, balancing between anticipation and uncertainty, with a sense of something just out of reach, lurking in the shadows.
Breaking the Clouds follows, unraveling the calm as we’re pulled downward. The track carries an eerie weight, like entering an unfamiliar atmosphere or a plane descending through dense clouds. The surroundings grow darker, charged with energy, as if the air itself is thickening with tension, creating a sense of movement and descent through a charged, shifting environment.
In the final track, First Light, the darkness lifts, and a warm glow takes over. It’s the release after the descent – the sight of a strange new landscape lit by the first rays of light. The sound opens up, feeling like a moment of arrival and discovery, revealing something fresh and illuminating.
Descent into Sunrise is a journey through evolving soundscapes, an adventure into atmospheres that feel both alien and beautiful. This EP invites you to explore and imagine, letting each track paint a new layer of this strange, immersive world.
