Sally Ward, a very talented artist and businesswoman lived her life to the fullest for 101 years! From leaving home to start her great quest at 15, through many geographic and life changes, Sally Ward documented her journey in paint, and made her living capturing the dramatic landscapes of the Western United States with watercolor and oils.
The Boom Goddess trio was bubbling with questions for Sue Ward, the daughter of Sally Ward. Sue's tale lends insight into the temperament, personality and circumstances of her vivacious and accomplished mother. In the early part of the 20th century, Sally forged her own path as an artist with her clever ability to build a support system of “artists in business,” which was ultimately a win- win for all. Sue’s testament to her mother’s colorful and confident spirit is an enduring inspiration for all!
