Colin & Mingo's eighth podcast, from September 2006, was called "Summer Trax.” From this podcast on, the opening and closing sounds have been standardized.
The “Summer Trax” include:
* "The Maxwell Montes Megamix,” a trippy sonic creation which later appeared on Magakrampi & Blanda's album “Spurning” (retitled "Maxwell's Song”)
* A new but untitled track from Magakrampi & Blanda, quiet and subtle compared to the “Megamix.” This track also ended up on “Spurning” (and it got a title: "Cold Star”)
