commissioned by NSOI in 1996, performed here by Eleanor Dawson, and NSO Ireland conducted by David Brophy. Three movements, inspired by character of Cassandra from "Women of Troy" by Euripedes. Loosely, the three movements are Cassandra rages, Cassandra weeps, Cassandra dances.
