Who do you think you are? What happens if there's a mismatch between who you think you are and whom others see you as? Ethics Forward travels to the conference of the Society for Applied Philosophy to talk with Dr. Mohammed Rashed, Wellcome Trust Fellow in the Philosophy department at Birkbeck College, University of London, who discusses the struggle for recognition in the context of controversial identity claims. He is especially interested in mental health activism and the struggle to tell stories distinct from those told by the biomedical establishment.
