Description

On this edition of Sustainability Now!, your host, Justin Mog, steps in from the storm to chat with Demetrius Gray, co-founder and CEO of WeatherCheck, an online tool that notifies property managers and owners about damaging weather before it hits, so they can take action to mitigate damage before it happens and better leverage their insurance policies.

Demetrius is a young, black entrepreneur and graduate of the University of Louisville’s College of Business. He shares with us the story of his entrepreneurial journey, the utility of his service for adapting to climate change and extreme weather events, the injustices and short-comings of our emergency preparedness, and Louisville's gaps in supporting entrepreneurs.
