On this week’s edition of Sustainability Now!, your host, Justin Mog, takes a break from writing his Congressional representatives for a chat with Jean Christensen, co-leader of the Louisville chapter of Citizens' Climate Lobby. CCL is an international organization which empowers everyday people to work together on climate change solutions. CCL supporters are organized in more than 400 local chapters across the United States and around the world. Together they’re building support in Congress for a national bipartisan solution to climate change, which has been introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives as H.R. 763, the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act.
For over a decade, CCL volunteers have asked their Members of Congress to work together to solve climate change. A viable climate change solution needs to be big and lasting — which means bipartisan legislation. This policy will drive down America’s carbon pollution while unleashing American technology innovation and ingenuity.
