Jesus' most famous sermon, The Sermon on the Mount, begins with 8 Beatitudes or blessings. The Vine is beginning an 8-week series studying the beatitudes, one at a time. The first beatitude is "blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
