2. When you think of the story of Jonah, what comes to mind?
3. Mark shared three ways people read Jonah. Discuss them as you consider the pros and cons of each? Which do you use with Jonah?
4. Retell what happens in the first chapter together. Use scripture if needed.
5. Reread verse 17. What does this "provision" mean to you?
6. Consider the ways that we run from God, and share what that has looked like in your life.
