3. Read Luke 15:1-7. What do you notice about the story? Questions, thoughts, insights?
4. Consider the parable from point of view of three different people and share how each might understand this parable. How would the Pharisees hear this story? How about the tax collectors/sinners? What might the disciples think of this story?
5. Share a time where you have been un-housed from community. What was your experience and what carried you through it?
6. How could followers of Jesus continue the work of the compassionate shepherd here and now as we seek to restore the one?
